What is Sensus, and what is it for?

Sensus is a verified-human network for finding out what specific groups of people actually think: students at a particular school, engineers in a particular line of work, people on a particular block. Members answer in the open or anonymously inside spaces, every answer is counted, and the app shows measured readings instead of a feed of guesses.

How it works

Who it is for

People who want the honest read of a specific crowd: a student choosing a class or a dorm, an engineer choosing a model or a tool, a new arrival choosing where to go tonight, a candidate choosing which team to join.

Where it stands

Sensus launched in June 2026 and is an invite-only private beta on iOS. The waitlist is the way in.

Questions people ask

Is Sensus anonymous?

Posting can be anonymous inside a space, but membership in the space is verified, so an anonymous post still comes from a real member of that school or profession.

Is Sensus free?

Yes. Membership is by invite or waitlist approval; there is nothing to buy.

What platforms is Sensus on?

iOS, through an invite-only beta. A web app exists for members as well.
