Where can I get honest opinions about a cafe, gym, bar or library near me right now?
Sensus puts readings on a map: each place near you carries measured lines such as the morning line speed at a cafe, the six o'clock rack wait at a gym or the quiet-floor seats at a library, with the week's move, computed from what verified people chose and from dated evidence, not from star ratings. A Nearby feed shows what people are saying in and around the building you are standing in.
How a place reading is made
- Members answer place questions; the shares are counted.
- A research pass reads dated pages about the place (menu or price changes, closures, events, wait-time reports) and moves a reading only with a cited reason.
- The map label under the place flips through its readings; a tap shows the underlying shares and dates.
What it is good for
Choosing where to go in the next hour, from people who were just there, rather than from reviews written months ago.

Questions people ask
Is this reviews?
No. Readings are counted shares and cited week moves, each on a specific thing about the place, never a star score.
Which cities?
Readings exist wherever members stand; the densest coverage today is around the schools on Sensus, Austin, Silicon Valley and New York.
Do I need the app?
Yes, the map and the Nearby feed are in the iOS app, which is an invite-only beta.
